At Edgeline Custom Homes, we believe building your home should be exciting, not overwhelming. That’s why we guide you through every step — from the first sketch to the final walk-through — with clear communication and dependable timelines. Here’s what you can expect when you build with us:
1. Initial Consultation
We start by listening. Tell us about your vision, your must-haves, your budget, and your ideal timeline. We’ll help you determine whether to build on your lot or explore available ones in your preferred area.
2. Design & Planning
Next, we collaborate with trusted draftspeople to design a layout that fits your lifestyle. From there, we start quoting trades and aligning the plan with your budget.
3. Selections & Permits
While permits are being submitted, we guide you through exterior and interior selections — from siding and shingles to flooring and countertops. If you're not ready to choose everything up front, we can stagger selections as we build.
4. Site Prep & Excavation
Once permits are in place, we break ground. The lot is prepped, staked, and excavated for your foundation.
5. Foundation & Framing
We pour footings, walls, and slabs before bringing your home to life with framing, trusses, and roof structure.
6. Lock-up & Mechanical
Doors, windows, and roofing are installed to seal the home. Then we move into plumbing, HVAC, and electrical rough-ins.
7. Insulation & Drywall
The home gets insulated and sealed before drywall goes up. It’s the stage where things start feeling real inside.
8. Interior Finishes
Paint, cabinetry, flooring, tile, trim, and millwork are installed — bringing your design choices to life.
9. Final Touches
Fixtures, lighting, and hardware go in. Outside, we finish grading and any decks or concrete work. Then we clean and prepare for final inspection.
10. Walkthrough & Possession
We walk you through your finished home, handle any final touch-ups, and hand over the keys.
